How to Become a Volunteer
We welcome passionate individuals who wish to contribute to meaningful change. To ensure a valuable and impactful experience for both volunteers and the communities we serve, we follow a simple but structured process.
Volunteer Eligibility Criteria:
- Age Requirement: Minimum age: 18 years (16+ with parental consent or for specific roles).
- Commitment: Willingness to commit a minimum of 4–6 hours per week. Duration of at least 1 month (flexible for events or short-term projects).
- Skills & Attitude: Basic communication and interpersonal skills. A positive, respectful, and team-oriented attitude. Open to learning and adapting to different social environments.
- Background: No criminal record. Students, working professionals, homemakers, and retirees are all welcome.
- Area of Interest: Education, health, social awareness, digital campaigns, fieldwork, fundraising, event management, etc.
Steps to Join as a Volunteer:
- 1. Fill Out the Volunteer Form: Complete our official registration form with your personal details and areas of interest.
- 2. Attend an Orientation: You will be invited to a short online or in-person orientation to understand our mission, work, and your role.
- 3. Interview (if required): A short interaction with our volunteer coordinator to align expectations and assign you to a suitable project.
- 4. Training & Assignment: Based on your interest and availability, you’ll receive necessary guidance and training.
- 5. Start Volunteering! Begin your journey of impact and receive a certificate/appreciation letter upon successful completion.
Additional Notes:
- Volunteers must respect organizational values, policies, and confidentiality.
- Field volunteers may need to travel locally at their own expense unless stated otherwise.
- Group volunteering and internship options are also available.
